Alert: Jackson State University officials issued a boil water notice, dismissed students, faculty and staff and cancelled evening classes on Monday, following malfunctions of city water treatment plant that caused some JSU buildings to experience low water pressure.

The university will return to normal operating hours on Tuesday, June 6, 2006.
