A RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY FOR THE NEW CRUGER TOWN HALL WAS HELD TUESDAY, JUNE 20. A full slate of elected officials from Holmes County joined Cruger Mayor Mary Sutton Ajoku and Cruger Aldermen Robert Farmer, Jr., Steve Flemming, Katherine Granderson, Carolyn Harris, and Mary Pitchford for the ribbon cutting and dedication of the new Cruger Town Hall and Community Room held Tuesday, June 20 at 10 a.m. Speakers for the occasion included Nick Walters, State Director of USDA Rural Development, and former Speaker Pro Tempro Robert G. Clark. Grant funds to build the new town hall were provided by Mississippi Development Authority and USDA Rural Development. "A Time of Restoration" was the theme for the event. (Photo by Penny L.
